Learn how to play The Ants Go Marching on piano with this Synthesia piano tutorial! Please enjoy!

The Ants Go Marching originally derives from the song “When Johnny Comes Marching Home” which itself is an arrangement from another song called “Johnny Fill Up The Bowl” which resembles a tune called “John Anderson, My Jo”, which itself was sung to a tune from 1630 or earlier. The music was quite popular in the Civil War times and has developed into a popular tune sung by children to the lyrics “The ants go marching two by two. Hurrah! Hurrah!”.

This fantastic piano arrangement is perfect for pianists of intermediate level technical ability and above to play this classic traditional song in a new and exciting way. It would be perfect for a concert or recital.

This piano arrangement of The Ants Go Marching is fantastic to play! You can learn it with our Synthesia piano tutorial, or from our official Sheet Music Boss sheet music at the top of the description!
