Natalie Alfera is one of our top commenters. She frequently drops funny comments in our videos, and we enjoy reading them. This tribute piece makes for a very fun and cheeky piano work! You may see a few references to our favourite Russian pieces too…
Brahms’ Lullaby (Wiegenlied, translated as “Cradle Song”) is a well known and loved piano work. It was originally dedicated to Brahms’ friend Bertha Faber as her second son was being born. Parents throughout the world today use the lullaby to sing their children to sleep, and it continues to have seemingly everlasting longevity.
This moderate-level difficulty arrangement is professionally engraved to the highest possible standard and is an absolute joy to play from! You will love performing this particular arrangement of the Brahms lullaby for years to come.
Gavin is one of our top commenters on Sheet Music Boss. He recently went through a stage where his comments appeared to be shadowbanned, making them less prevalent than before. We’re sorry to hear about this, but we want to assure you, Gavin, that you’re in good hands if you stick around here! Thanks for having fun with us, and enjoy the music!
Battle! Gym Leader is a track from Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue that plays when you battle against a Gym Leader. It is a face-paced and exciting version of the regular battle music with exciting licks and runs throughout. This piano version of the battle music is arranged for advanced level pianists and would be a fantastic show-piece for a concert! You’ll have heaps of fun mastering this professional piano arrangement and playing it over!
TheReportOfTheWeek is a channel run by John, last name unknown, (usually referred to as “Reviewbrah”). In his series “Running on Empty: Food Review” Reviewbrah reviews fast food and pre-packaged foods designed for convenience for the consumer. Reviewbrah often makes up characteristic lines off-the-cuff, some of which have made it into the internet vernacular. One such phrase, “My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined,” came to life when Reviewbrah made a review video on Popeye’s Cheddar Biscuit Butterfly Shrimp, and gave it a dismal rating.
This piano work reimagines Reviewbrah’s characteristic line as lyrics to a song, featuring Reviewbrah himself as the lead vocalist. We hope you enjoy playing this funny little piece as much as we enjoyed making it!
My disappointment is immeasurable
and my day is ruined
We have finally brought you the fiery third movement of the Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven. This movement is full of furious arpeggios, left hand melodies and frighteningly fast figures. Good luck practicing, because this one might take a little while to master…
Fun fact: Andrew and Samuel played this piece on two grand pianos on a chance first meeting.
LyricWulf is a YouTuber who has assisted us in creating our special videos by rendering special effects. Without his help, many of our videos wouldn’t look as amazing as they do! LyricWulf earned his 100,000th subscriber on July 24th, so we decided to create this tribute piece to celebrate his achievement. Thank you LyricWulf for your help: you have been a fantastic friend and I hope we can work together much more in future!
The Can-Can is one of the most well-known operatic cues, from Orpheus in the Underworld. It features in countless films and games and works well in this piano arrangement. The Can-Can is a dance characterised by its use of a female dancing chorus wearing petticoats and performing kicks, splits and cartwheels.
This is an advanced level piano arrangement that would work well in any recital or concert program. Enjoy
Thanks for helping us reach 500,000 subscribers! We could never have made it without such a fun and awesome fanbase! It was only about a year ago or so that Andrew and I thought of the possibility of getting 1,500 subs in… …a year! But half a million rolls around and we are seriously chuffed and forever surprised. Leave us a comment if you can’t wait for 750,000!!! 😁
