Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da is a song by The Beatles from the White Album (“The Beatles”). Written by Paul McCartney, Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da was written in Jamaican ska style. Among the more difficult songs to record, John Lennon reportedly was resistant against the song and the ensuing tensions caused their recording engineer at the time, Geoff Emerick, to quit his job. Some of Lennon’s protests against the song are too rude to be featured in a YouTube video description… However, the song made the top 50 in the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was also included in the 1996 compilation album Anthology 3. No Time to Die is a song by Billie Eilish written for the unreleased (at the time of writing) James Bond film, No Time to Die. Due to this association with the Bond franchise, Eilish’s single was her first to reach the top of the Irish and UK Singles Charts. Working hard to complete the song in good time, Eilish and Finneas wrote and recorded the song in three days, from a chord progression made by Finneas on a tour bus. Daniel Craig (James Bond) even took the time to listen to some of the submissions and vet them before one was approved. Hans Zimmer worked on the orchestral arrangements in the song. Enjoy this piano tutorial of the latest Bond song, No Time to Die by Billie Eilish!

Learn how to play I Walk Alone by Tarja on piano with this Synthesia piano tutorial! Please enjoy!

This song was written by Harry Sommerdahl, Mattias Lindblom and Anders Wollbeck. It was inspired by a musical motif in Requiem by Mozart. It features a theater atmosphere accompanied by orchestra, guitars, and Turunen’s powerful voice. According to Turunen the song “describes her personality perfectly well and identifies her as a singer”. Some fans have considered this as her response to Nightwish’s “Bye Bye Beautiful” from the album Dark Passion Play (2007), which was a song directed towards her. The song was a declaration of her independence and willingness to move on. In 2009, the song was covered by the Norwegian singer Jørn Lande on his album Spirit Black.
