Chopin’s Wrong Note Etude is from his Op. 25 set of studies. It differs from his other work in that it features a minor theme with the slow middle section in the parallel major key. The clashes with adjacent notes throughout the fast sections merited the nickname “Wrong Note”, and you’ll see why it’s called that once you watch this tutorial. The beautiful theme from the middle section of this etude is one of Chopin’s best. Enjoy!
