Maple Leaf Rag is one of the most recognisable piano pieces of all time. It was composed by legendary rag-time composer Scott Joplin some time before 1899 and led to a steady income in royalties for the rest of Joplin’s life. This version is played much like Joplin used to: with small improvisation, fast and with swing. Scott Joplin’s ragtime style varied immensely, from the slow and lyrical to the fast and exciting. This is one of our favourites, so we are sure you’ll enjoy! We have linked the public domain sheet music for you all to learn from the sheets for free.
