Flight of the VERY RUSSIAN Bumblebee is based on the well-known orchestral interlude “Flight of the Bumblebee” by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, originally appearing in his opera The Tale of Tsar Saltan. It is a Sheet Music Boss “Russian” take on this already quite Russian piece, which was originally written and later arranged by two Russians about a Russian, living in Russia. Similar to the Rachmaninoff arrangement, this is technically difficult and would require a lot of practice to perform. It is a satisfying piece to play though, so for those more adventurous pianists who want to show off: this is the piece for your next concert!
