Another #SMB #piano #composition, this one’s about the best time of the year in sunny #Australia. It’s July as we write this, and the weather is just perfect. Time to go for a run.

In the subtropical climate of South East Queensland, Australia, winter is a beautiful time. Standing in the sunshine, you can feel the caress of the cool breeze and listen to the birds sing. It’s blue skies every day and a special experience to have.

Having grown up here, I’ve never realised how lucky I was until I travelled further afield. Coming home, I can appreciate the beauty of my home again and how much I love living here.

This piece is inspired by the sound of the wind through the trees on a sunny winter’s day, and the feeling of just being there in my backyard in this wonderful place.
