Beginning in F major, the simple melody soon gives way to a dramatic and intense middle section in F minor. #Chopin finishes the work by returning to the serene pleasures of the first theme, creating a perfectly balanced work that is a pleasure to listen to. This set of #nocturnes was composed between 1830 and 1833, and demonstrate a distinct development of Chopin’s signature style when compared to the earlier Op. 9.
