Crocodile Rock is a song by Elton John with his lyricist Bernie Taupin, recorded in 1972 in Strawberry Studios. From the album “Don’t Shoot Me I’m Only the Piano Player”, Crocodile Rock was a chart-topper, reaching number one in Canada in the RPM 100 charts for four weeks consecutively. The song was inspired by Eagle Rock by Daddy Cool and influenced by such tracks as “Rock Around the Clock” by Bill Haley and his Comets and “Little Darlin'” by Del Shannon. This awesome piano arrangement of one of John’s most playful and fun songs comes to life in this tutorial! You will have a great time if you are an Elton John fan, or just want to play something speedy and rockin’! Enjoy.
