Yakety Sax is a pop jazz solo composed by James Rich and Boots Randolph. It was made popular by becoming the theme music for the Benny Hill show. The use of Yakety Sax throughout the show was around chase scenes, and it has now become a comedic trope/staple to play the music behind a silly chase. If you are thinking about a silly saxophone playing during a chase, you are likely thinking of this!
