Thank You for the Music is a song by Swedish supergroup ABBA. It was released in 1977 on their album “The Album” and was a featured single used to promote similar compilation albums released by Epic Records. Although it didn’t reach the heights of previous ABBA hits, Thank You for the Music touched fans of the group as it is seen as a “farewell” from them making music. The opening of Thank You for the Music has a quasi-improvised piano part, which is featured at the beginning of this tutorial video.
