Oogie Boogie’s song is a musical number from the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. It was written by Danny Elfman and performed by Oogie Boogie and Santa Claus, whom Oogie has imprisoned. Oogie Boogie is the main villain of the movie, so Oogie Boogie’s Song is a centrepiece to the soundtrack, and among the most well known songs from the movie. Multiple sections of Oogie Boogie’s song was cut from The Nightmare Before Christmas, as they were deemed too difficult to animate given the time constraints provided. Thankfully the full version is available on the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.
