My Neighbour Totoro (My Neighbor Totoro) is a Studio Ghibli film by Hayao Miyazaki. It is a fantastic animated film about a professor and his two young daughters interacting with the friendly spirits in the woods in rural Japan. The film frequently makes “best movie” lists, and has generated over $1.5 billion in revenue. The titular character, Totoro is among the most well-known and recognisable characters from all Japanese animation.

The music for My Neighbour Totoro was written by Joe Hisaishi, and features his characteristic melodic and harmonic style, as heard in other Studio Ghibli films such as Howl’s Moving Castle and Spirited Away.
