Dire, Dire Docks is a course in the Nintendo 64 3rd person platforming game Super Mario 64. In order to access Dire, Dire Docks, Mario must look to the left of the Mushroom Castle main basement room and enter through the star door there. Through the door it looks like a painting made of water, and jumping through it initiates this wonderful soundtrack that we have come to know and love. The Dire, Dire Docks music is a gentle and soft track with flowing melodies and beautiful modal mixture harmonies throughout. Dire, Dire Docks fits exceptionall well under the hands on piano and is a joy to play in our piano arrangement!
