François van Campenhout wrote the Belgian National Anthem La Brabançonne in 1830. It has been the official National anthem since 1860. Originally, the song contained lyrics attacking the Dutch Prince of Orange, but those were removed before the song was formally used as the anthem.

This piano arrangement is of moderate difficulty and can be played by pianists of all ages! There are some octaves, but otherwise it would suit pianists with smaller hands too. We are sure you’ll love this one if you enjoy the National Anthem of Belgium!

Lyrics:
Noble Belgique, ô mère chérie,
À toi nos cœurs, à toi nos bras,
À toi notre sang, ô Patrie !
Nous le jurons tous, tu vivras !
Tu vivras toujours grande et belle
Et ton invincible unité
Aura pour devise immortelle :
Le Roi, la Loi, la Liberté !
