Rhinestone Cowboy is a song performed by country singer Glen Campbell. From the album Rhinestone Cowboy (1975), the song was written by Larry Weiss and was produced by Dennis Lambert and Brian Potter. Despite not making a commercial impact in its first version by Larry Weiss, Glen Campbell managed to bring it to a number one hit on the Billboard Hot Country Single and Billboard Hot 100 charts. The Campbell version of the song also hit number one in various countries around the world. The lyrics have recieved praise, as they talk about an artist surviving when the chips are down and finally making it after paying their dues. Rhinestone Cowboy has been certified gold and sold over 1 million copies, it has also won various awards across the United States. This piano arrangement brings much of the country joy from the song onto the piano, making it a pleasure to learn and play!
