Chopin’s Funeral March comes from his Sonata No. 2 in B-flat minor. It is considered his first mature piano sonata. The Funeral March was written before the other three movements, and is one of the most well-known themes from classical literature. It has been parodied and references countless times for its seemingly perfect portrayal of a funeral mood.
