Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy is a ballerina’s dance from #TheNutcracker by #Tchaikovsky . In the #DanceOfTheSugarPlumFairy the ballerina was originally supposed to perform pointe steps, petite batteries, and altitudes, with some pirouettes near the end. The dance was supposed to sound like “drops of water shooting from a fountain”, and so Tchaikovsky incorporated the celesta to create such a sound. This beautiful easy piano arrangement takes the magic of the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and fits it comfortably under any piano player’s fingers for an easy playing experience!
