The #Lacrimosa from #Mozart ‘s #Requiem was one of the final things he wrote; he died in the same year he began his Requiem. Some say that it was as if he was writing this traditional form of a funeral mass for his own death. This beautiful piano arrangement is perfect for any solo recital.

#Satie was an incredible #impressionist composer, with the #Gnossiennes and #Gymnopedies some of his most famous works. He actually invented the word Gnossienne to describe the pieces he wrote, as they didn’t follow any formal styles that he knew of!
