This piano tutorial is of the 1997 version, which very quickly became the highest selling single in UK history, selling over 1.5 million copies in its first week of release. In the US, Candle in the Wind debuted at number one and remained there for 14 weeks. The touching live performance at Diana’s funeral has never been repeated, with Elton John vowing never to perform it again unless specifically requested by Diana’s sons.
