#TheSunSleeps is an SMB original #piano piece, and the last of the #Sunlight #album. We’re so thankful that you’re listening, and for all of the kind messages we’ve gotten about these pieces as we’ve released them.
If you’re able to, take a few minutes out of your day and listen to this as the night falls. Notice the burdens of the day, the thoughts that won’t stop racing, and how your body reacts to this constant drive of wanting or needing more. See if you can sit with it, and let it be.

#SunsetsLullaby is from the #Sunlight #original #piano album by SMB, and we’re very grateful that you’re here and listening to it.
This was written for the final moments of the day, where the brilliance reaching across the sky comes to a crescendo and then fades into the tones of twilight. Many of us are untethered from the rhythm of the world around us, and these pieces remind me that being alive is a joy and a privilege in ways we don’t always realise.

This is a deeply personal piece of music I wrote in May 2021 and never published, until now. It’s a very heartfelt emotional expression of how I was feeling at the time.
In 2008, I wrote “Reflections”, and this piece, titled “Reflections II”, is its follow-up. May you find something in here that resonates with you. – Andrew _________________________________________________________________________
This #solopiano work was intended as a #calm, sincere composition. When I listen to it (SMB Jo here, by the way!) it instantly makes me feel better, and I’ve returned to it months on end to find a moment of quiet on hard days. I hope it gives you the same feeling. I feel very lucky some days to do this job and to be able to share beautiful #music with the world.
Some of my favourite moments: 0:00 opening 0:47 a misty lake 1:42 shadows 2:20 peace 4:32 a quiet determination 5:54 the climb
If you liked this, please comment and let us know. Original piano music often gets lost in the algorithm, and we are so thankful that you’re here and listening.

Dancing Queen is one of the best-known songs by Swedish Europop group ABBA. From their 1976 album “Arrival”, it was a hit worldwide, as well as ABBA’s first and last number one hit in the United States. The song’s disco style, inspiring other bands to follow the trend. With a beautiful melody, Dancing Queen features instrumental hooks and lyrics about going to the discotheque, with a little more emotional content than other disco songs.
Fun fact! Dancing Queen was given the first International Standard Music Work Code, T-000.000.001-0 in 1995. Anni-Frid Lyngstad (one of the singers of Abba) also performed Dancing Queen at Swedish Queen Silvia’s 50th birthday in 1993, and the Swedish Prime Minister was in the audience.
This arrangement by Andrew Wrangell is approximately grade 6 level. It’s a great song and sure to be a fantastic repertoire choice at a concert given how popular it is!

Lyrics:
You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life
See that girl, watch that scene, digging the Dancing Queen
Friday night and the lights are low
Looking out for the place to go
Where they play the right music, getting in the swing
You come in to look for a king
Anybody could be that guy
Night is young and the music’s high
With a bit of rock music, everything is fine
You’re in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance…
You are the Dancing Queen, young and sweet, only seventeen
Dancing Queen, feel the beat from the tambourine
You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life
See that girl, watch that scene, digging the Dancing Queen
You’re a teaser, you turn ’em on
Leave them burning and then you’re gone
Looking out for another, anyone will do
You’re in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance…
You are the Dancing Queen, young and sweet, only seventeen
Dancing Queen, feel the beat from the tambourine
You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life
See that girl, watch that scene, digging the Dancing Queen

Lyrics:
Tonight I’m gonna have myself a real good time
I feel alive and the world I’ll turn it inside out – yeah
And floating around in ecstasy
So don’t stop me now don’t stop me
‘Cause I’m having a good time having a good time
I’m a shooting star leaping through the sky
Like a tiger defying the laws of gravity
I’m a racing car passing by like Lady Godiva
I’m gonna go go go
There’s no stopping me
I’m burnin’ through the sky yeah
Two hundred degrees
That’s why they call me Mister Fahrenheit
I’m trav’ling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic man out of you
Don’t stop me now I’m having such a good time
I’m having a ball
Don’t stop me now
If you wanna have a good time just give me a call
Don’t stop me now (‘Cause I’m having a good time)
Don’t stop me now (Yes I’m havin’ a good time)
I don’t want to stop at all
Yeah, I’m a rocket ship on my way to Mars
On a collision course
I am a satellite I’m out of control
I am a sex machine ready to reload
Like an atom bomb about to
Oh oh oh oh oh explode
I’m burnin’ through the sky yeah
Two hundred degrees
That’s why they call me Mister Fahrenheit
I’m trav’ling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic woman of you
Don’t stop me don’t stop me
Don’t stop me hey hey hey
Don’t stop me don’t stop me
Ooh ooh ooh, I like it
Don’t stop me don’t stop me
Have a good time good time
Don’t stop me don’t stop me ah
Oh yeah
Alright
Oh, I’m burnin’ through the sky yeah
Two hundred degrees
That’s why they call me Mister Fahrenheit
I’m trav’ling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic man out of you
Don’t stop me now I’m having such a good time
I’m having a ball
Don’t stop me now
If you wanna have a good time (wooh)
Just give me a call (alright)
Don’t stop me now (’cause I’m having a good time – yeah yeah)
Don’t stop me now (yes I’m havin’ a good time)
I don’t want to stop at all
La da da da daah
Da da da haa
Ha da da ha ha haaa
Ha da daa ha da da aaa
Ooh ooh ooh
