Africa is a hit song by the band Toto. The song was written in 1982 and can be heard on Toto’s album “Toto IV.” Africa was also released as a single in the same year. Since its release, Africa has topped the US Billboard Hot 100 (the only Toto song to do so) and has been named as one of the top 50 Most Explosive Choruses in NME magazine. The song was written by Toto’s keyboardist and vocalist David Paich and drummer Jeff Porcaro. Paich appears in the iconic music video as a researcher in a library, trying to match a scrap of a picture of a shield to the book from which it was torn out. Interestingly, the music video to Africa features Mike Porcaro in place of David Hungate, who had left the band before the video was shot. Toto managed achieve a gold certification for the release of Africa, reaching cumulative sales of over half a million copies in the US alone.

Can’t Stop The Feeling! is a song by Justin Timberlake, written for the soundtrack for Trolls (2016). It is an upbeat song with disco, pop, funk and soul influences. The song was such a hit that it debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It was the best-selling song of 2016 in the US and has amassed over 3 million downloads since its release. This arrangement keeps a lot of the funky rhythms in the melody and works great as an easy arrangement.

Some Nights is a song by American band Fun (fun.). It comes from their second album, Some Nights. The song was a bit hit in America, lasting 7 months on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 3. Some Nights is written in the Indie Pop style, intended to be festive and folky. Some of the lyrics in Some Nights are quoted from Nena’s 99 Luftballons (English version: 99 Red Balloons) and represent existential angst of a young person who is a long way from home.

Attack on Titan is a popular manga series that was later produced into a successful anime. The series is based around an alternate world, where giant humanoid creatures (Titans) nearly wiped out humanity. What is left of humanity resides within three giant curtain walls, which become compromised as the series develops. The music for Attack on Titan is by Hiroyuki Sawano, who has worked on numerous anime productions throughout his career.
