La Marseillaise is the French national anthem. It was written in 1792 by Claude Joseph Rouget de Lisle, orignally called “War Song for the Rhine Army”. It is a revolutionary song and an anthem to freedom and against tyranny and foreign invasion. It is a march style anthem and it has been incorporated into various pieces of classical and popular music.

This piano arrangement of La Marseillaise is of moderate difficulty and is playable by intermediate level pianists of all ages! If you like the French national anthem, look no further than this arrangement!
